My wife is pregnant and only a few weeks left before her c-section. She has been experiencing tingling and the vein protrusion in her left arm. Could this be a heart problem or is it something caused by the pregnancy.

Hi,

When was her last checkup? How has her blood pressure been? Are the veins more noticeable standing or lying down?

Some of the hormones that her body is producing cause the blood vessels to relax, and she has more blood in her body. Veins that you normally don't see may appear to come to the surface.

The tingling is probably related to the pregnancy. A form of carpal tunnel often results from fluid retention. It usually goes away very quickly after birth.

Hope it helps.
