My husband has been complaining the last week or so about lower leg pain and weakness. He discribes it as a rubbery feeling. He has now developed a sore throat and is having some discomfort in his chest. I am not sure but I think this may be related to an oral problem he had a month ago. He had a tooth that was giving him problems. He went to he doctor to get an antibiotic. He took the meds as the doctor told him to. He can not go to an oral surgean or dentist without his doctors okay because he is on blood thinners. His infection got better but not a hundred percent. Could he have and internal blood infection now? Should he see his doctor ASAP regarding his new syptoms?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hallo,
I don’t think that he has any internal bleedings from the infection but he will need to see that oral surgeon as soon as possible. He will have to get rid of this problem with the teeth. I am not sure if this can cause pain in the leg. My opinion is that the leg pain is caused by something different. The chest pain on the other hand can be due to the pain in his mouth. Can you tell me more about the medication that he has been using during this time? Main issue here is that his teeth can get a lot worse and they can complicate things and cause more pain.
Regards,
Karen
