I find it best to be a tiny bit less than totally hard before pushing it down between my legs - once I'm squeezing it seems to be able to get as hard as it wants without hurting. But I can also climax with it really soft, so it doesn't really matter so much.

As well as squeezing between my thighs, I sometimes squeeze between my butt-cheeks when I'm not so hard - does anyone else do it this way? It's a bit harder to climax but somehow 'deeper' as the squeezing feels different
