Light pink spotting........ Negative pregnancy test

Hi, When I was pregnant with my first son I started spotting five days before my expected period which lasted five days.   I also did a pregnancy test and it came back negative. I waited a week and did another one which came back positive. 

Hi thank you for your reply you have helped me loads all of the other posts I have seen didn't really answer my question so just thought I'd have to just put it out there as I've never heard of spotting, did everything go well with the pregnancy? Is spotting normal? Xxx

Hi, I was on bed rest from 7 weeks on.  I spotted throughout my pregnancy.  They said i had an inflamed cervix.  I had my son 25 days early.  With my second son I was on modified bed rest from about 10 weeks on.  I also spotted throughout my pregnancy with him also.  They never really gave me a reason.  I went into preterm labor which thankfully they were able to stop at 25 weeks with second son and went on and had him at 38 weeks and a day.  They are now 5 and 7 1/2.  Let me know if you find out if you are pregnant.   We are trying for a third and it is not happening as fast. Went to a fertility doctor and they did test my husband it turns out has a low sperm count but they are not sure if he always has been like this being that they have no history on him because we didnt have an issue conceiving two times before.  They want to do a round of Clomid with me then do an IUI but everytime i go in and have ultrasound it shows i have ovarian cyst.  so they wont do clomid because they say that will only make cysts larger.  I am going to be 38 in Jan.  My cycles have been getting really irregular.  They put me on birth control and i got severe migraines.  so will not do that.  Just wanted you to know all ive been through.

Hi, thank you for your experience it's reasurring to know that other people have been in this sutuation before and it's not just my body playing games haha, it worried me because i had a termination when i was 17 as it was an accident and i felt i was too young so was thinking it had messed my body up with this happening, im 23 now and fell the time is right for me to have a child and never really fogiven myself for the termination, me and my partner have decided to do another test next week once the spotting has stopped so I guess it's just a waiting game now that I can honestly say I am not looking forward to waiting is the worst part. I am glad to hear that your first two pregnancys worked out well and im sure that in time you will be blessed with a third child, when I was put on the birth control pill they did not agree with me either they made me very moody and an overwhelming feeling of being generally down and I also suffered with very bad migraines when I told my doctor his response was that which ever ones I am on I will never feel 100 percent with them so I have to just grin and bear it so I made the decision to come off it as I couldn't put my self through that so you are right to not take them if they are not helping you. Hi,  I go in for an ultrasound tomorrow to tell me if I have cysts or not.  If cysts are still there then I cant start clomid.  I think they are still there.  All I did was spot the last couple of days.  My body has gone into a funk.  I seriously thought I was pregnant this time.  I had all the symptoms but then they are also symptoms of ovarian cysts.  I kind of get depressed when my cycle comes every month! lol For me it is my age i am not getting any younger.  Lol  My husband now says we should have kept going after my younger son.  I was like fine time to tell me that now. lol Well will let you know how things go on my journey.  As well would like to hear how things go with you. 

Hi everyone as promised I said I would keep you updated on my worrying journey, today which would have been my 5th day of spottin my period came with avengance! So I guess for me it's just a case of better luck next time :( but I wish you lovely ladies the best of luck and hope you all get what you want a healthy pregnancy and a lovely healthy bouncing baby, what ever obsticals may be blocking your way just stay strong and positive and you will soon overcome them and get that positive test we all so badly want. Hi That is too bad:(  I went for my ultrasound today only to find out I need surgery.  They did an ultrasound three weeks ago and  i had a cyst on my right ovary.  Now the scan today shows it is still there it has not changed so because I want to conceive the doctor wants to remove the growth.  He says it is most likely benign.  Then hopefully I can start clomid within the next cycle or two.  Surgery is schedule for nov 8th.  He says that may be why my cycles have been irregular and i had all the symptoms of pregnancy.  which are similar to that of ovarian cyst. Keep us posted if you achieve the ultimate goal!  I know how that feels to hope so bad that it is pregnancy symptoms we are suffering from only to have aunt flo visit! kind of depressing!  I thought for sure when I had my first ultrasound they were going to tell me things were good to go I would do my round of clomid and then have an IUI and things would be golden and when i met with the dr  after the scan and he said that i had a 2.5cm cyst and he was not going to start clomid i went home and cried.  I kind of felt like i was being greedy wanting a third child when at home i have two very wonderful gifts from god! I miss my period I spotted took a test it came back negative I always get mines around 3rd but I have a ovarian cyst I never miss my period til now but I do have two kids I don't no if it's the ovarian cyst

My period came this month and was normal. So, I had unprotected sex several times after it, and now spotting light pink. Any chance of pregnancy?
