I've been on the pill for a year.
I'm in the last week, where the pills are just placebos and don't contain any hormones or anything.
I've finished the pack to this point, and I had sex.
However, this pack was my last refill, and my next gyno appt. isn't for another week or so.
So I'll be a little delayed on starting the next month.
What are the (estimated) chances of this being a problem for me?
It’s not important that you are in placebo phase; you have been taking a pill for a year. After month or two after you start taking the pill you are protected, only if you have been taking them regularly up until now. Sperm can survive for maximum of 48 hours, so you were protected during that time. But, the problem will be you starting late with the next pack – I don’t think you will be protected during that month. You should try to figure out a way to get the pills in time, or simply use protection before and when you start next pack.

Thanks for the input! Yeah, I figured it wouldn't be good to have sex again until I get back on the pill, I was just a little worried about the most recent time.
