I slept with a girl like 2 and a half weeks ago. We both had a breakout that looked like it could have been herpes. I have been doing research for the past 2 weeks. Funny part is that she got it way worse than I did. She was in the middle of a menstrual cycle and had recently shaved. She told me afterwards that she had also had a yeast infection not long before we had sex. We both went in and got a swab done and we both came back negative for herpes. I had 3 bumps like the ones being talked about in this thread and one blister. The first time we had sex, it was over an hour. I know that there are herpes specific swabs, which I don't think the test I got was herpes specific, so I know it could have been a false negative, so I am still paranoid about it. I got my results back a few days ago but am still worried. I intentionally stopped showering and taking baths with no soap to conjur up another breakout so I can get tested again.......sure enough, I just noticed another small, hard flesh colored bump on my penis. The girl I was with also got tested for yeast which can cause a breakout that has the same symptoms as herpes. Trouble is, by the time we got tested, her yeast levels were negative. I guess I am wondering if it is possible that since she was on her menstrual cycle and had recently shaved, could the irritation caused by her stubble and her menstrual blood being rubbed into that irritated area be the cause? I had one bump with the initial breakout that looked like a blister and 3 small bumps total with a rash that looked like it possibly could have been hives in my pubic region. I have been going crazy for almost 3 weeks now and I need to know what is going on with me. I just want to cover all my bases here and be responsible just in case it is something I could potentially transfer to someone else. The suspense is killing me. Has anyone ever had this issue and have it turn out to not be herpes?

I've had these for aslong as i can remember I've tryed to pop them, ignore them, clean as well as possible, but to no avail. what is the medical name for this condition? and also what are some other ways to get these gone wihtout going to a doctor? becuase i am understandably rather shy about this?

i have loads of them all over ny penis they are tiny and are the same coulor as my skin i think mine are smaller than the rest of yours when i rud my finger overthem you can hardly fell them any way to get rid of them not geting any sex because people think its an STI i realy dont want to go to a doctor can anyboby help me to get rid of them.

i actually started this thread and im happy i could help so many of you out, but the moral of the storys already been coverd just was yourself thoughrly and avoid popping them if you can i find that after a while they tend to clear up but come back in summer when dirty and sweet builds up... and as for the BB sized one.. goto a doc man. thats defintally not what i expreianced.

Oh my goodness. This thread just about saved my sanity. I didn't really notice the bumps until after the first time I had sex, because I wasn't really too interested in scouring my penis for any abnormalities. I thought it was warts, but what I had was nowhere near as bad as the pictures and descriptions I'd seen. Really really glad that it's just dirt and bacteria, as I'm about to have sex with my girlfriend of over a year. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to give her anything.

This skin condition is known as Fordyce & here's a wiki link (not much info there either, but it's better than nothing), but it's always a good idea to check with your doctor to be sure it's just that & not something else.
