I am a 56 year old male, kiney transplant over a year ago from my brother. My low platelete count is medicinaly caused, I am off that drug now. My count is around 4000. It seems I am eating up my own platletes. Is there anything else my team should be doing, any food or other meds besides steroids I shhould be asking about ?
I have been in the hospital three weeks but we are struggling to find the right answers. Thanks
