I am a 61year old male with the same sensation on my lower right side abdomen---just like a cell phone vibrating. Interesting how we all are experiencing this and no one has answer. Not painful, just really annoying.

Ahh! I am the same age as you and I have these fluttering sensations too!

It makes me feel nervous, but there is no pain.

I have the exact same feeling as if i have a cell on vibrate in my left pocket. lower left below belly button. I looked into to it and read that it can be caused by a cut or abrasion below the groin, like the leg. My fluttering started yesterday and I just happend to cut myself pretty bad shaving my legs, and read that there are glands that affect the groin area. So that can possibly be the reason.

I am a 47 healthy female as well and now that you mention it, my spasming started after I did an ABS video/pilates as well. Hope it stops soon as it is annoying.

I am a 35 healthy female and I feel the fluttering in my lower abdominal area. Just above my pelvis. If I hadn't had a hysterectomy I would tell you I was pregnant! It feels just like baby flutters. I have no idea what is causing it, but to be honest, it's freaking me out! I do not have IBS. There is no pain at all. Just feels like something in my abdominal area moving around. Anyone know what is causing this? Perhaps I need to see my doctor. :/

I have had the same fluttering feeling in my left side. It is strange. The doctors ruled out IBS. Now they think it is reflux but have no symptoms of reflux. I was just scared thinking there may be a chance I was pregnant. Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't want to take meds that I don't need they cause only more problems.

I'm a 39 year old female and I get it in the wee small hours of the morning I awaken and feel the flutter and energy and usually can't get back to sleep for a couple of hours. Weird that we're all experiencing this! I agree, it feels like a vibrating cell phone deep in my abdomen. What could it be? It's like I swallowed a vibrating microchip or something?

i am 44 and just found out im in premenopause and i also just started to feel fluttering in my lower abdomen. I had my tubes tied since 1995 so im sure its not pregnancy its not painful but really annoying.

I didn't look back, but are we all female who are experiencing this, I wonder? Could be peripause for me...age ranges? I wonder about lots of factors...is this new since the installations of the country-wide 'smart meters'? Perhaps it could be an EMF symptom going on?

45 and today a vibration started in my nether regions. Exactly as you describe "phantom cell phone vibrations" every 15 seconds for past hr. VERY WEIRD!!! No pain and no explainable reason. I am thinking a nerve is twitching?

I have been having the same thing. It's not IBS. Its like right above the underwear line. I thought maybe I was pregnant but have taken 10 tests and had a blood test... All negative. No pain, no nausea, just a flutter. It's annoying. My doctor said its "probably stress". But, I don't agree with that. I hope someone can help.

I'm a 30 yr old male. I have been experiencing this flutter for three days now and on this third day having seen y stomach kind of move I thought I had a huge worm but thank god this thread put me to ease. I do have ibs but have only tried colon hydrotherapy which does not work. I hate meds but guess I need them and to watch my diet.
