Greetings everyone! I am a 43 year old male with a recent history of high BP. For the past year I've taken Lisinopril, Metoprolol, and Nifedipine to keep my BP under control. Up until recently I haven't had any adverse reactions to my medicine except for some mild dizziness upon standing too quickly and lethargy about an hour after I take it, which clears up within another hour. However, about a month ago I began to feel a fluttering sensation in the lower middle part of my abdomen similar to a vibrating cell phone. It is never painful, comes and goes throughout most days, but always eventually returns. I have no history of IBS or other issues as I routinely check-in with my primary and my cardiologist as well as having routine blood work done to monitor my condition. It is apparent that the cause of this is still unknown (even to my doctors) but perhaps if enough people post their situation some telling patterns may begin to surface.

Do you still have the feeling of vibration or cell phone in your stomach I've had it for over a year now and am just wondering if you still have it.

I'm feeling what everyone has described here and I have ibs but ibs is more of a gurgling and painful feeling, this other feeling I'm getting is more like a vibration from a cell phone but without a phone present, and it doesn't hurt, just feels weird and annoying and I would think nothing of it but none of the diagnoses seemed good (although IBS would be the best outcome, if it is just IBS again then I can relax and move on with life... But it mentioned possible PID, essential tremor, etc... All scaring me out of my wits!

I am too experiencing this weird flutter constantly every 9-10 seconds in lower left abdomen. I am 49 year old female and in good health. The only thing I can say is it started for me after a Thorasic (midd. back which covered abdomen area) MRI. I had also a week prior to this one a lumbar/pelvis MRI....I was wondering if anyone else had this symptom after an MRI.

Lower Abdomen "Flutter" Vibrating/buzzing sensation in the lower abdomen 2/25/2018
SOLUTIONS????
“The pinched nerve of your L5 if you stop slouching. Sit up straight… the muscles are week from years of slouching. It is a sign from your body to move. It flutters you move and adjust it stops…”
“Most likely these are your superficial abdominal muscles. Most likely these "fluttering" symptoms are muscle fatigue and atrophy, or mineral imbalance. Do some crunches and make sure you are getting enough calcium, magnesium and potassium in your diet.”
Here are a few ideas from all the posts.

I can alleviate the symptoms that I experience while sitting, by extending my left leg forward and shifting my core slightly to the right. Maybe a "pinching"? Somewhere is cutting off blood flow?

Before crunches, ask if they have any spinal issues.

Do you still have the vibrating in your lower belly? I started getting that last November and I know what it is. Are you spiritual at all?

I'm an 83 year old male, and have had this fluttering -- something like a cell phone -- for the last two hours. I walked 2 miles today, did Tai Chi, walked more, then noticed it when I sat to watch TV. Glad to hear it's nothing!

I've had a non-painful fluttering/spasming on the lower left side of my abdomen nightly for the past few years. It's annoying because I can't lie on my left side. Any ideas?

I am here just as baffled as everyone else so don't go thinking this is the answer, but in my case, it might be the fact that I gained some fat on my abdomen and I believe this sensation of vibration is a stomach muscle spasm due to the new position it is in with fat over/under it. I am active but my stomach muscles have always been my weak spot.

I just started getting a pain in my lower left abdomen while eating. Doesn't seem to matter what it is. The pain stops about 5 minutes after I'm done. Has anyone had this? How did you cure it?
