I have had this burning with pain, standing next to a hot radiator type feeling in both LHS and RHS and covering the whole lower area. It also burns down the outside of my thigh and the inside of my thigh feeling like I'm sitting in a bath of hot water with my clothes on. I have been everywhere, Urology (because my bladder won't empty properly either) Gastrology, Gynacology and I've had every type of scan and X Ray. The consensus seems to be that its nerves doing all or most of the symptons. I have now been given Gabapentin a medicine that acts on the nerves somehow (they effect my balance, like a drunk!!). I have also had nerve block injections in my stomach and in my back in the Pain Clinic. The stomach ones helped-for a day. The earliest back injection I had worked for 4 weeks. the next 2 did not work at all but for a day. During the last few months my left leg has been going dead and I was pointed in the direction of a back surgeon. More X Rays on my back, now I know my back is pretty shot, crumbling discs and bony growths so outcome was not unexpected but this time because of my leg going dead the surgeon decided to do a deep nerve root injection in the RHS of my spine at a vertabrae junction.(Local anesthetic)  After 10 days I felt some improvement would you believe, in my pain and burning in the front, the pain more than the burning at first. I had a blissful time with no pain or burning. Unfortunately the burning has now returned but not much of the pain. I shall be seeing the Back Surgeon in 3 months and I will try and get an explaination as to why an injection in my back can have an effect on my front! This has all been going on since 2010!

If any of you guys are still reading these posts, I'll keep you posted on the next chapter

I had the same pain for almost a year... then started passing out... went to hospital... all tests for everything...nothing sorted, signed myself out. It turns out to be allergy to Olives! I was taking olive leaf capsules and one doctor had asked if I was taking anything, when I told him he gave the normal warning that these things are not regulated....so I watched and found it was this straight away....but I cant even buy bread because it may have been cooked in an oven with a bread using olives...or olive oil. I used to eat olives by the jar in the past. If I eat or touch anything or use any hand cream or shampoo the pain comes back within a couple of hours, for larger amounts my heart beats very fast then my blood pressure drops then I pass out.... after this I am very ill for about a week.
I hope this may help and if it is an allergy that you find the culprit fast.

hello, my name is mark and i am 33yo.  i too experience a burning sensation about a hand-length from my navel and to the right. its not painful nor does it feel internal.  it's not on the skin (local dermal temperature is consistent with surrounding temperature.) and is almost as though it is just below the skin.  it's kinda hard to describe because it's like one of the "inside body itches"...the ones where you are itching and know it's on the inside and no matter where you scratch or seem to notice the itch...you never can scratch it! it is soo frustrating.  it would be nice to discuss this situation but because of my current medical condition, im hiv positive, i will never be able to get a straight answer for anything other than..."take your meds and it will go away because more than likely it is just hiv related." disheartening, aint it?  if it is any help, a start for you would be to look into possible neuropathy (slight tingling to almost painful sensation in the fingers and extremities). i am sure, especially with the info available to us regarding the nervous system, sensations gathered by the  nerve endings from various stimuli in our environment always have the possibility of being misinterpreted by the brain or being redirected. hope this helps...

Male/25

I have been experiencing a burning pain in my upper left abdomen, just below my last rib. It only occurs when I'm walking. It goes away about 15 minutes after I stop walking. Feels like the pain comes from right under my skin. Also the pain is concentrated on one point. It will get excruciatingly painful if I pull the body hair of that one point.

For the last few days I have been getting a hot burning feeling on my right lower abdomen. It feels like something is burning on my skin yet it's not hot to the touch. It seems to start if I bend forward a little and then comes and goes now for days. It's not painful it just makes me think I have something burning me or feels like I got something on my skin causing the sensation. I have tried washing the area to be sure it isn't from anything getting in my skin. I'm just worried it's going to eventually progress to a larger area or be a health risk. I'm 41 years old and concerned.

Try eating plain cultured yogurt twice daily and drink a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar mixed with a cup of water 3x daily.
