I had a csection in Dec 2004. About a year after the procedure I developed a small lump above the incision area between my hip bone & naval. It is the size of a jelly bean & feels squishy. It becomes hard & the area around the lump swells up about the size of a baseball & becomes extremely painful for days at a time. My doctor thinks that it might be endometriosis but I am doubtful. The lump is between my muscle & skin, in the fat tissue. It is not a hernia because it is not attached to anything. I was told that it is not a tumor or cyst because it is not growing on anything. It's just floating around in the fat tissue. Has anyone ever heard of this or have any idea what it could be? Endometriosis? My doctor wants to start me on Depot Lupron but I'm very nervous about it. I haven't heard of anyone with endo having these symptoms.
I too have the same squidgy jelly bean shaped thing in my lower abdomen, it does not hurt and it moves around when touched - pretty rank!! I've recently started doing exercises including sit ups, i was wondering if this might have caused it?
I have these symptoms as well, just went to doctor today and she said its not a hernia, but sending me for a pelvic ultrasound. endometriosis and fibroids are a possibility but im not sure until i get the ultrasound. hope everything turns out alright for you.
