I was doing the dishes this morning, and after taking off my gloves I noticed there is a large lump on the vein in my hand. It looks a bit peculiar and different in color to the rest of the vein. Doesn't look charming and I wonder what it is as well. Has anybody experienced the same symptoms and what did it turn out to be?
Many people don't know these exist, but there is such a thing as a vain bruise. If you recently fell, bumped your hand on something, or a similar minor injury, then this could well be what you have. If I were you, I would keep an eye on it and it should be gone in about 10 days. If not, see a doctor.
I guess that is what it could be. We live on a farm and I am a homemaker and homesteader, so a lot of the time, I get bruises and small injuries that I don't even know where I got them from! I'll do what you suggested. Thanks for taking away my worry that it could be something serious.
