I had dental clearance @10 weeks ago. I had loads of shards breaking through the gums. I haven't got dentures yet so am ultra aware of my gums thanks to my tongue. I now have multiple little lumps under the gum and they can and do move around if pressed or pushed. They are not painful but it is very uncomfortable when the lumps into the space in the front of the grown over space where the tooth outs have been. They also move into the bite crowding the space and causing discomfort. Being in such a sensitive area anything abnormal Is keenly felt. I find myself with my fingers in my mouth feeling around and pushing the lumps around. Since my extractions my mouth has taken over my body making me acutely aware of my healing gums and anything strange. Is this normal so long after surgery. Will my eventual dentures be ill fitting due to the gums not being the same shape all the time?
