I had my gallbladder removed in August of last year(2007)The entire first week out of the hospital I couldn't move from the pain. My doctor told me "it can't be that bad" and wouldn't give me anything for the pain. I had diarea real bad and could't eat anything. It has now been six months and the pain is comming back three fold. I can't go to my doctor he didn't believe me the first time is it normal to have so much pain so long after the surgery?

Your doctor doesn't feel a thing. You obviously need a new doctor & preferably several second opinions until you find a compassionate human being. And shame on the one who discounted your pain!!!!
