Hello,
I haven’t found much information or experiences from people suffering from enthesopathy, or inflammation of the areas where ligaments and tendons attach to the bone, however I’ve been diagnosed with this condition after years of trying to figure out why am I in constant chronic pain in my limbs.
My rheumatologist now wants me on steroids, to try to bring the inflammation down, but I was wondering is there perhaps a chance that the massage of these areas might help ease down pain at least a bit?
Quite possibly as it is 'limbs' (arms and legs), but you don't say much about the specifc location, yourself, or where you live. Massage can often relieve rheumatoid arthritis. Look for a masseur/se who is recommended. I would want to know about any other condition you have before giving a massage.
