well by what you are saying that you nevr experinced menopuases and as soon as you got in bed with your lover then all the sudden no periods i want to say there's a 97% chance your pregnant it is very possible.!!!

Wow..good to know im not alone. Im 46 and 5 months ago started a reslly wonderful relationship. My last period started augyst 26th 2013...its now november 23 and no period have had many preggo symptoms but none of the typical perimeno symptoms...had what is called implant bleeding 1st week of oct but seversl hpts and 1 blood test said negstive this was about 4 to 5 weeks ago. ..what is wrong with me? Ive got 1 daughter that was a miracle and she is 13...most if what I feel is like when I wad preggo with her snd yes I took 1 hpt then and it was neg doc had to do qualative blood test to detect I was preggo then and was 8weeks...no doc now will do that test and says wait another month or 2 that im most likely perimeno?

Would love to know outcome I was told would be extremely difficult for me to get pregnant when I was 20. My husband and I tried for many years but no success. He passed away and after 10 years began to see someone turned out to be a mistake. I have missed two cycles and am always regular. I have been feeling what I thought might be menopause symptoms for awhile now. Now after 3 days past my second missed cycle I am paying more attention to the fact that my breasts ache, am nauseous, and tired a lot.
I have been thinking about taking an at home pregnancy test but am a little freaked at what the result might be. I thought I would wait one more month and see what happens.

It is really hard to say. Usually when going through menopause you may miss a period here or there or you may notices changes in you period like, it may become longer or shorter. It can be come heavy or lighter. It is changes that will take place. This is what my doctor told me. Your best bet is to just go and get a pregnancy test to avoid all the guessing and wondering. I'm shocked that anyone here is having UNPROTECTED sex at these ages with boyfriends! I'm 52, married, last period was in January 2014 - it's now April 2015 and I'm still have the ID. I am in a similar situation. My period is over 1 week late but since I am in perimenopause that has happened before. Also I shave skipped a few over the last prob 2 yrs. But I am nauseaus almost all the time. It reminds me of when I was pregnant with my daughter. I took a pregnancy test from Dollar tree that I have layin around, it expired about a month ago. I took the test around noon a couple days ago and it was negative. So wondering if the nausea could be from perimenopause or somethin else...
