Hi, ive recently have my xray result and it says that "consider minimal pulmonary tuberculosis, both apices, as described, activity undetermined. Please correlate with clinic and other parameters.
Consider pneumonia, right lower lung. Correlate clinically." What does it mean? Is it dangerous?
Hi Guest,
Your x-ray indicates the possibility of pulmonary tuberculosis in the tops of both lungs. Further diagnosis is needed. It could include additional x-rays, usually an apicolordotic view (to image the tops of the lungs better), and possibly sputum anlysis.
You may also have pneumonia in your right lower lung. Again, further diagnosis is needed. Likely lung sounds and a general exam.
Hope it helps
