missed period, negative pregnancy test and thrush

I resonate with this...There are so many stories of similary symptoms, but nobody has returned to tell what the reason/outcome was. I've had thrush for the first time and now my period is late. Pregnancy test is coming up negative and I'm dying to know how this ended with other people. Please anyone who experienced similar situations give us an idea of what happened. Thank you!

My husband and I have been trying for a baby & I am having the same symptoms as lots of other people on here. I felt queasy all last week, I had trush for the first time, have had lower back pains & feeling like I was about to come on, but am a week late so far. I am always really regular, since I started my periods at 13 & am now 30! I have done 2 tests so far using early morning urine, both negative. I am going crazy not knowing what is going on! Any advice would be really welcome!

For those who take birth control, and have positive urine results and negative blood results......

Birth control will usually give you a positive hcg on a urine test, however are not in the blood.

Breast feeding and your period...
Breast feeding releases oxytocin which contracts your uterus, thus preventing your menstruation, although spotting is not uncommon. When I was breat feeding I didnt have mny period for the whole seven months.

I had irregular periods before I got pregnant with my daughter. Then after I had her, I got on the pill. My periods had been exactly 28 days to the day every month. It has been a 18 months since I started the pill & I have been off of them for a month now. My fiance and I have used NO protection what-so-ever, and I am now going on 1 week late. I have taken 12 pregnancy tests & they all come back negative. I don't know what is going on, but not knowing if I am pregnant or not is driving me insane!

I've been having irregular periods since the birth of my last child. Every month I come on 2 days after I did the month before. This month their was nothing. I took a pregnancy test, it came out negative. It's been 2 day's since my missed period. I'm confused. Is it just too esrly to determine pregnancy? Am I even pregnant? Hello Guest, I have come across this site by google! I was on the pill 4 years came off them Oct 08 had my withdrawal bleed then 7 weeks later normal bleed, I want to be pregnant, im now 2 weeks over due and have tested negative I don't understand why? I had mild cramping for 2 days and now that's gone other than that I feel bloated no other symptoms. Me and husband have been actively trying so not sure what to do or should I just wait? I have also noticed a slight bump lower part of stomach which could be caused with bloating. Im confused!

I have the same problem my period was suppose to come jan 26 and nothing yet and 2 neg test. Im very nervous and don't know what is goin on and i am 27 with 2 daughters. :-(

Hey, I had two periods last month. I had a period on the 12th, my husband and I tried to get pregnant, and then on the 21st I started my period again. I was confused so I took a pregnancy test what came back negative. It is the 23rd of the following month has I still do not have a period, I have taken two test both which say negative. Does anyone know what is going on?

Hi, I went through a similar thing. Never missed a period in over 10 years. I used to have long cycles, like 37 days but then these last several months, I've been having a shorter consistent 30 days cycle. Recently, on Feb 9th, I had my period and then after my period about a week later I started spotting for almost two weeks (I've spotted before but never this long!) I was suppose to have my next period on March 9th but it didn't come. I waited two weeks later and took a pregnancy test and it turned out negative. I waited four days later and took another one, still negative. By this time, I figured the pregnancy test would be fairly accurate. I didn't feel like I was pregnant but I felt faint and short pain in my lower stomache like my period was coming.

I was about to make a doctors appointment because I didn't know what was wrong with me. Then finally, on March 26, my period came. That means it was 17 days late! My guess is that I must've ovalated late due to stress.

hi i am 22 and i started my period march 4-5 then agian 7-8 then again in March 21-26 i tooke about 10 test and all come up invaild or neg it has been 3months and 2days anyone have any comments?

hi everyone id jus like to tell u my story.... i stopped taking my pill at the beginning of june due to being so ill i could'nt keep water down let alone the pill, end of june came and no period (me and my partner had unprotected sex a few times during the month) i normally have very regular periods 28 days. day 35 came still no period so i did a HPT came bk NEG. day 37 came still no period another 2 tests came bk NEG.
i thought it may be the tests arnt sensitive enough so i went online and bought some 10miu early pregnancy tests while waiting for the tests to arrive i was really beginning to think i was pregnant and getting excited looking forward to having a new addition to the family.
well tests arrived on day 39 so did one straight away " theses tests cant be wrong " i said to myself.
The test came bk NEG. defo not pregnant then i thought and i was right 2 days later my period came i was really gutted maybe coz i let my mind run away with me thinking i was.
after all this me and my partner have decided we shall start trying after my period and last week was ovulation week and we were at it like rabbits LOL.
Now i am due on my period on the 13th august so not long to wait to see if i am.

I woke up this morning with thrush GREAT i sometimes get thrush when im on and using pads so stopped using them and decided on tampons instead have not had thrush since till now.
I heard thrush can be a pregnancy symptom so maby i am pregnant but im not going to bang on about it like i did last time incase im not and end up getting upset again.

moral of the story is that just because u are a few days late does'nt mean ur pregnant try and wait 45 days from the first day of ur last period b4 doing tests anything after that wait 90 days still no period and NEG. tests then go see your GP there may be an underlining problem.

Ok... so a lot of people here seem to be having the same problem... And I am about to add myself to this illustrious list!

I'm 28, have had my periods since age 11... For most of my that time, they've never been regular. Two years ago I was diagnosed with PCOS, but never did much about it. Ignored it mostly, since I wasn't having sex, and despite the PCOS, I still had periods and still ovulated....

Strangely though, a year ago, I was forced to move back home with my dad, and after living with him for a few weeks, my periods for the first time in my life started to come regularly.... My iPhone has a program I downloaded where if you put in the days you have your period, it calculates when your next one is due and when you will ovulate, and since downloading it, this program has always been 100% accurate for my own personal cycle in regards to both next due date AND ovulation. I was amazed...


Anyway, two weeks ago, I hooked up with a guy, and though I didn't have any intention of sleeping with him, well, things happened, spur of the moment, whim type things, and it happened. We had sex....
At one point while he was inside of me, he pulled out really quickly and asked me to suck him instead and I noticed there was a large glob of cum on the end of his penis. I thought it was precum and wiped it off.
Later when we were talking about it, he had pulled out because he thought he was cumming and it was CUM on his penis, not just pre-cum... I don't know how much, if any, might have went inside of me...
The day after, I had very very light pink spotting, which went on for a few days. It was like I had pale pink wee. But not enough to even bother with a pad.

I didn't think much of it really, didn't really concern me... Until I went into my iPhone a few days later. Because the program on it is for fertility stuff, I wanted to make a note of when I had sex. And then I saw it. The day I had been with my guy, was the peak day of my ovulating period. I about went white.
I tried to ignore it, and not stress... And I checked to see when my next period was due. October 8th.... that being... yesterday.

After I saw the due date of my period, I waited awhile, because generally for me personally, up to about a week before, I start getting fluid retention, bloating, headaches, very sensitive nipples, back pain.... all the nasty "your periods are coming" gloom and doom.
And in the meantime.... on Saturday... on Sunday... on Monday and on Tuesday, everything I eat makes me feel nauseous and I am constantly belching. I have a pain in my right side under the rib cage, I keep getting diarrhoea and stomach cramps and on this Sunday just gone, my vagina started burning. It feels like I have vaginitis.

I took a HPT this morning, which of course came back negative, I'm only one day late for my period after all... but it all concerns me because of the timing, and the not knowing if he did cum inside me at all. And I know size has nothing to do with anything, but when he is inside of me, it feels like the head of his penis is inside my uterus, he's so big. Any sperm that DID go inside, didn't have far to swim really because of how far inside he goes!
But I have had NONE of my usual "your period is coming soon symptoms" .... only a burning vagina that I keep having to put a cold cloth on to soothe the burning and a bunch of other, much more peculiar symptoms. I mean, surely if I was pregnant (and I'd only be a couple of weeks so far), SURELY it would be too soon for nausea?!?!?!

I hope to buy some thrush cream tomorrow because I'm positive the burning is thrush.

Hi! I am so confused. My period is pretty regular. I start normally every 26 days. It has now been 30 days since my last period. Took a hpt but it came back neg, could I still be preg? it was a 1st Response hpt, wouldn't it show up with that brand of hpt.
