Hi there, sorry I have not responded earlier but in answer to your question, no, I can't run or jump but I can stand on tippy toes which I haven't been able to do before, I still struggle with stairs & 3 is about my limit at this stage. At my last visit, I have lost another 30% of my muscle mass in my legs but in saying that, I believe they are getting bigger compared to measurements taken 1 year ago. The improvements haven't stopped and I have found that my muscle growth in the lower legs has improved but I don't know how far this will go. I have soreness in muscles that have virtually disappeared and I will continue to work on these to see if the condition continues to improve. I have changed my diet to include a large amount of vegetables and also take inner health plus each day to balance bacteria. When taking the hydrogen peroxide I found that I was less stressed and I no longer require stomach tablets of which I was on 2 per day as my condition has improved. Exercise is also a key factor in improving things, not only just a little per day but you need to push yourself to continually keep moving. Sleep is also a must. I have also found that using the Nutri bullet and following recipes for immune system works wonders. I consulted my GP prior to commencing the hydrogen peroxide as he did extensive research on it and advised me to keep to the strict instructions, there are no harmful consequences if taken correctly. I have had the disease almost 25 years now & was supposed to be in a wheelchair within 10 years but thankfully not yet. I continue to push myself everyday and take the hydrogen peroxide with a glass of milk every morning. I have also found that bathing in it once per month gives you an incredible kick also. There are those out there that will tell you that taking it is not good for you but these are often coming from organisations/people who are only out there to make money & get funding so I ask you, is it better to be on 50mg per day of steroids of which I was on for years that alter your chemical balance, make you aggressive, angry and bloated, or is it better to be continually researching new ideas & trying alternative medicines? I have pushed myself extremely hard for the past 12mths and I am now able to do more now than I have in years, don't get me wrong, there are still bad days but the good are far out weighing!
Hi there, my experiment is going well, with improvements as previously posted, I have found that there is some resistance by medical practitioners to taking hydrogen peroxide but if taken in the right quantity and following the correct instructions, it is in no way harmful. My GP did extensive research on it & was happy for me to commence taking to see if it made a difference, and it does. I have found that the more you push yourself the better you feel and as I said in my previous post, my legs are getting stronger and though I've lost another 30% of muscle, I find myself feeling stronger and more able to get around with a little more ease. Having this disease for almost 25 years has given me plenty of time to experiment on a lot of different exercises, dietary changes and medicinal changes, both natural and prescription.
Thanks for responding to my question. However it does concerns me that your getting a short turm gain with way to much muscle loss, which i hope does't effect you later on. What i am going to do is go overseas to see genectic research hospital to see if they can inject the gene we are all missing into the spine or what ever they do. Reason being i have stored the placenter and ambilical cord from my last child hoping they can work with it and sort it out.
Keep me posted cheers Adam
