my mother is just reasently coming off of heroin but im not sertian that she is as she lies througth her teeth shes comein off of heroin via metadone and i want to know if when methadone is taken does it make the pupils dialated?
Hi there! As far as I know, all narcotics- both heroin and methadone will make a person’s pupils constrict. Unlike narcotics, nervous system stimulants amphetamines, cocaine, crack and cigarettes will make the pupils dilate.
Pupils can dilate when someone is getting off of Methadone and when the drug is given only when the withdrawal symptoms start. Methadone also causes addiction and withdrawal side effects when trying to quit.
