my boyfriend has severe stomach pain almost every day for quite a few months now. and he went to the hospital and they did blood work and they said it was normal but didnt do anything further. and he still has the stomach pains. he thought he was constipated today and took some medicine that the pharmacy suggested to help him go, magnisium sitrate, and it made him sicker than ever, puking, pooping, everything, and he said the pain is worse than its ever been before. he doesnt have health insurance so its hard to go to the doctor and the hospital just shrugged him of. any suggestions?
When it comes to stomach pains, it is very important to know if they happen after or before meals and which part of the abdomen are they located in – upper or lower? Without much more information it’s hard to simply guess what might be the cause, and, of course, no one wants guessing. Since I know from my own bad experiences how things can get bad when you don’t have insurance and, believe it or not, this summer I was in the similar situation with constant vomiting for days and they just discharged me with nothing. So, please, describe in more detail where the pain is located, when does it happen and everything else you might think it might be important.
