Thank you for posting a "positive" review...i'm having surgery in 1 month and all i've read are the horror stories which were making me so scared and questioning my surgery. I will have to take the chance and hope for the best. I hope you're 100% now, thank you.

Here is a happy story I pray I give hope and this encourages all of you. Every day I have a half of apple cut up with two meals which prevents constipation or Diarrhea. I drink 8-10 glasses of water a day. I have toast, a boiled egg and frozen or fresh cooked vegetables with two of my meals or and or raisin bran. Orange or Apple Juice 4 ounces. I eat grilled fish salmon and chicken no skin Yogurt ,cherries or grapes only about 8-10. I eat peanuts a handful or mixed nuts no cashews. Cucumbers, tomatoes on the side as a salad. . I eat Ragu Spagetti Catelli original sauce on pasta of your choice or those small Chinese egg noodles in the small packages. . Whole wheat Bread . My favourite is corn on the cob. I eat one on the side or two by themselves . I put only black pepper on my food. I walk an hour every day . This is only my third month after surgery. I do knee bends 25 -50 and I get plenty of rest. I go to bed at 8;30 and allow the body to heal .I awake at 7;30. Also there are two good products that help you if you are constipated Relaxall can be taken it takes up to 2-4 days to work it is white powder no side effects mix in any liquid. I use orange juice. You can buy it at any Pharmacy no prescription. You can only use it for seven days then ask your doctor if you can repeat it. Also even better Laxaday again buy it at any Pharmacy you can use this one every day if necessary any time of the day. It is also a white powder in any liquid no side effects, I got so tired of side effects from so many hundreds of dollars I spent on drugs. I threw them all away and now II am on my way to good health and you can be too. Oh yeah eat oat bran bagels and cornbread muffins. Just these and they all work and do not harm me and make life more interesting . Enjoy They God Bless you! Also the God I serve Jesus Christ has kept me and my husband who serves me day and night and cooks all these meals for me.

I had my gallbladder out 6 days ago and needed no pain relief after the op at all. I went into town shopping with my sister the following day. i have not lifted anything or been silly. but I am doing just fine, I have eaten a range of foods, fats, spicy and all were fine, no toilet problems either.today I took my plasters off and all looks well.

Finally, something positive about having my gallbladder removed. I have had this surgery planned for a couple of months and all I have been reading is that it isn't necessary and that I'll gain weight. I am set to go next Thursday, but I have been frightened by the info on the web. I wish I had seen some of the positive posts earlier! Thank you so much!!!

Well, I had my gallbladder removed on April 12th an it's April 14th and I have NO issues..., period! The only complaint is the hospital bill. I even had a small hernia repaired during the procedure that's a little sore.., but it feels like I did 100 sit-ups and nothing more. I thought I'd post my experience because I read all the bad stuff and it scared me too. But, let me say I was and remain a very active person a am very fit at 53 years of age. Good luck and go for it! One attack was enough for me.

Hi there i love your post I just had mine removed a week ago.i waited almost two years because of advice from family to do a natural cleanse ect but nothing worked finally last week rushed to the ER with serious pain had no choice family did not like my choice but no one understood my daily nausea and pain and the pain I felt that night... i begged them to take it out. I am still recovering but I feel so much better. The pain of recovery doesnot compare to the excusiating pain I felt last week. I agree take it out donot suffer in pain

I had my gallbladder removed almost 3 months ago. Scars are small and healed up very nicely. First week was painful and yes there were frequent trips to the washroom. I was back to work the week after and other than weak stomach muscles felt good. Every so often I'll eat something really fatty and find I'm heading to the washroom within 30 mins, but for the most part - all is well. I too read so many horror stories prior to surgery I almost cancelled. But I am thankful I went ahead and it's all behind me now.

I just had my gallbladder out about a month ago! I wish I had done it twenty years earlier! I have felt great since I woke up from the surgery. I did not need pain pills, went back to work within a week, have eaten whatever I want, and have had no bathroom trouble. In my late forties, I had a golf-ball size stone in my gallbladder, one blocking my liver and one blocking my pancreas-there are positive stories out there-

My biggest problem I have is extreme nauseous(never throw up) on and off all day and have done numerous test and and tried different things and nothing worked so had a ultrasound and they found gallstones toe the only reply I seen that had nauseous was that one of your symptoms? And did it fix it? Any info would be greatly appreciated
