I have just started a new relationship and my girlfriend is concerned that I still have a foreskin, she believes that it is unclean. I have not been in a relationship for a long time. some 8 months, the last time I had sex I wore a comdom. I keep clean always.
My girlfriend has always practiced safe sex in the past.
My girlfriend is concerned that she will get cancer, because of the germs inside my foreskin. As I have not had a sexual relationship for some time my penis looks sore, however, neither of us are suffering from any irritation.
What advice can you give us, we are both in our 40's

Dear andrew. Your foreskin is not unclean and your girlfriend has nothing to worry about. explain to her that the majority of men in the world are uncut and the foreskin and furnelum is like a womans clit and cliteralhood. Foreskin does not increase the chances of any disease there is no conclusive medical evidence that suggest so and no major medical organization in the world recommends circumcision. It does not cause cancer it circumcision does not reduce the risk of cancer, it does not reduce the risk of spread of STD there is rarely any valid reason for circumcision and asking you to get circumcised is the same as if you were to ask her to get circumcised. googled Doctors opposed to circumcision and NOHARM
