Ive been to my gp every month this year, i have ab ongoing ache behind my left breast, my arm is numb and my hand is tingly. I get palpitations daily when at rest but my bp, heart rate, ecg and stress test are normal. Could this be costochondritis? I have very sore knuckles and my tendons seem to twang, could it be a tendon or ligament thing. Im at my wits end and thinking of paying to go for an mri scan privately!
First of all, please don't get an MRI scan privately. They usually are a rip off and it's not very helpful. What I do think that you should do instead of speculating on what this is is to instead go see a different doctor. Get a second opinion. I don't think that your doctor is taking you seriously, so it would be a good idea to see a new one and tell him/her about it instead. Please let us know what your new doctor says.
