Hi:
Don't let your young age keep you from having this checked out. You've gone a long time with this problem. I just had a friend who has had symptoms for a long time. I don't mean to scare you, but.....her blood pressure finally dipped really low after being really high with chest pain, etc. By the time she walked into the ER they gave her a 20% chance of survival. She had a heart valve problem. The valve was about to rupture. She had immediate 8 hours of surgery and she is now recovering. Chest pain, dizziness, etc. sound like cardiac/circulatory system issues, which are handled as priorities in the medical community. Please see a doctor for tests to rule-out anything serious. Please let us know how you are doing. We will be waiting to hear. Best wishes.

Hi again:
I had another thought, except that you only feel this way when you sit up after a lying position. Ask questions about your thyroid gland too. This could also be a cause. A thyroid problem is very serious if not treated. Your thyroid gland controls a lot of your body system processes thru the hormone that is releases. Thyroid problems are very treatable. Take care of yourself. Again, get your symptoms checked right away.

As you have posted this in anxiety, is this an anxiety disorder, or are you referring to laying down and getting up and having issues? It sounds to me like you should definitely get help for this from a medical professional as soon as possible. I know that it sounds scary right now but it's worse if you wait longer. You can have a serious issue and not know it! I hope that I've not scared you and that you will go get help for this. Please keep us posted on what happens.

Have you decided to seek out medical help? I really hope that you have. If not...PLEASE take our advice. If you have, what did you find out? Did you see a specialist or have you been referred to one. If you have an appointment, don't wait too long for one. Sometimes doctors are booked up and ask you to wait without knowing what's going on with you. Don't do that. Find a reputable doctor that is available. Please let us know what you've decided and/or what you've found out. We'll be waiting to hear from you.

My heart is beating fast once a month. It is lasting for several hours before stopping. What's happening to me?
