Hello. I know your parenys are ment to want the best for there kids but my parents only want the best for my young brother. I have a sister (18) and a brother (12). Im a female (20). I have ADD and im Dislecsia. My parents never beleived in giving me meds to help. So I went to public schools and tried my best. I failed grade 9 and my parents finally moved me to a private art school. I kept strugeling and I couldn't understand anything. My brother at this stage had been diagnosed with ADD and he is also dislecsic. My parents put him on meds and he went to a special tutor to help with his reading and speech. He started going to a remedial school and is doing great. As he started getting more and more help my parents said they couldn't afford my art school anymore so I had to leave. I am now stuck with no matric. My sister just matriculated and now her and my brother keep calling me stupid and I cant tell my little 12year old brother its all his fault. My dad refuses to send me back to school or help me find a service I can study without a matric. He still moans about paying my school feez to this day and ive been out of school for 2years. I wish I could show my parents I need help and I dont mean to be ungrateful for the food and shelter they give me but my dad can afford it. He has 3cars and is always buying himself strange things like juicing machines. I would like to hear what you think of this situation. Am I being over sensitive?
