I'm 15 yrs old male. I've never had sex...past year now I've had times when my scrotum itches bad. Well these past couple of days it's started itching worse. I've noticed crusting around the sides of my scrotum. Also small bumps a bit around the area...I haven't seen a physician yet...should I? I don't want to reveal anything to my parents though. Is it bug bites possibly?

To be honest, I couldn’t say anything without seeing! The crusts that appeared could have been due to itching.
What are these small bumps like? Do they resemble pimples with white stuff inside that can’t be squeezed? If you have such bumps, these are called sebaceous prominence, they are harmless and shouldn’t itch.
I reckon you should see a dermatologist. It is obvious it is some kind of skin problem, it could be yeast infection and you may need a cream to get rid of it. Yeast loves moist and sweaty areas, this is exactly what scrotal area is all about.
See a derm, get the treatment and try to maintain good hygiene and shower every time you sweat down there.

as a matter of fact yes there are whitish small bumps that can't be squeezed out. are you sure it's a yeast infection?

i have the same freking thing and its starting to really piss me off! sometimes the itch gets so bad i cant think about anything! weird thing is, it only itches in the morn. and at night. WTFH is it?! M / 16 / not sexually active
