Gastroparesis- which is stomach muscles that dont work fast enough to empty food properly from the stomach to be digested, it is where the food you eat is sitting in your stomach after eating and is delayed for a long period of time because the stomach muscles are not moving fast enough to move the food to the next place therefor it will sit in your stomach all day and all night til the muscles have actually pushed the food along to the next stage which will be to the intestine to then be broken down- this will usually happen while you sleep, thats how long it takes for the stomach to empty to get to the intestine with gastroparesis, thats why people usually wake up with a flat stomach after looking nine months pregnant all day the day before after eating. then when you eat or drink again it happens all over again its abnormal stomach muscle functioning this can be checked by x ray
