My throat feels weird whenever I drink water. It feels like my throat is swelling even though I can eat, drink, and breath perfectly fine, so I don't know whats wrong. This started happening very recently. I can drink milk, and that's about it. I haven't had juice in a while, so I don't know if that makes my throat feel weird. Does anyone know what this is?
Starts a few minutes after you drink? Stops a while later? Like an hour or two? I have it. Mucosal linings are very rare, but happen---it's aquagenic prurititis. It can actually be a symptom of a blood disorder (polycythemia Vera). Let your doctor know, see an allergist/immunologist---and don't be surprised if they refer you to hematology.
