need help[/list]
Just went thru a similiar experience last weekend. My 19 month old grandson tripped over my foot while we were outside and fell face first on the sidewalk. He got an immediate egg on his head between hairline and eyebrows, it was huge, i bet the size of a golf ball. We ran him to the ER where they immediatly gave him A CAT scan. Thank God he was okay.
If this was my child and he took a spill from the bed and got an egg, i would have at least gave his doctor a call. Well, knowing me, we would have been sitting in the ER.
You can't mess around with a head injury. All may look fine exept for a boo boo, but you don't know what is going on in the baby's head. The CAT scan determined that there was no cranial bleeding.
Even if you feel funny about taking a slightly injured child to the ER, don't, you never know.
How long has it been since the injury?
