How important are these pills. They itch crazy. I have been on these pills for 2 weeks. I took 4 as described on the bottle three days ago and I am still itching.
What are you taking Niaspan for? Is it for high cholesterol or do you have to take it for some other use? I think either way, it would be a good idea to talk to your physician or your pharmacist to find a solution to your problem. If you're itchy, then it seems to me that you may be mildly allergic, and that you should take care of the problem as quickly as possible. If you've been prescribed the medication, I imagine it would be very important for you to take something. Please let us know how it goes and if you are prescribed any alternatives. Good luck!
