Call my a skeptic, but I would never go to a naturpath for "treatment" - I do think that herbs work, but I also think they can easily do more harm than good. If this happens to a patient, and rather than curing the disease that they went to the naturopathy clinic for they end up with serious additional problems, is the naturopathy clinic liable for legal action?
Let me plant another question in your head. If such scenario happens in a hospital, would the treating doctors admit to their mistakes and leave themselves open to be sued, or would they cover up their mistake and act like they were life saving heroes? I have seen this happen more than a handful of times, and my mom is a registered nurse in a major hospital. Because naturopaths are more aware of the fact that they are not mainstream, and are not treated like Gods, which is certainly true for medical doctors, they are automatically more careful.

I am really not sure that I agree with the previous post. People do sue hospitals all the time, and win a all too often! I am sure that doctors in hospitals, rather than being reckless, have a "cover your a$$" attitude and are more careful than they should be. I really don't know where you get those ideas from!
