My friends son is suffering from leukemia and it seems like a really serious matter. He has been undergoing several different therapies and they were not effective as they should have been. Now he is using Fludarabine and even I know that it is not a mild drug at all. Is neurotoxicity from fluudarabine possible?
Unfortunately, you are right when you say that situation is serious. Fludarabine is type of medication used in people with leukemia, but only when other therapies and meds did not show any effect. And it has its own side effects, which might be very serious. Those are blindness and coma. I guess I should tell you that even death is possible (at high doses, of course).
