no fetal heartbeat, mistake?

I also do not understand why they make you wait after two U/S with no heartbeat. I am going throught the same thing.The Dr. even said the baby hadno distinction between head and body. I think this is the mose horrible thing I have ever gone through and my Dr. is not being compassionate.

My heart goes out to every single one ov u as I no how u all feel july ov last year I had an ectopic pregnancy and nearly lost my life luckily only had to have a tube removed, 3 mnths later caught pregnant again was so happy as baby was in the rite place this time went back n forth epu all seemed fine went for my 12 wk booking scan only to b told my baby had no heartbeat, being the determined madam I am refused to give up as my partner had been diagnosed with cancer n we long for a baby togetha I caught pregnant 4 mnths later really thought all wud b fine this time but went for my 3rd scan yest in epu since finding out only to b told again that my baby had no heartbeat and had died at 8 n half wks :( myself and my partner r gutted I really can't understand y as I already have 3 gawjus girls to a previous partner and all my pregnancies were perfect :s....I wish everyone all the best n hope 1 day it all happens for u xxxx

I feel the same way. I just miscarried my last in november at 6 weeks and now they are saying that i'm 9 weeks the baby measuring at 8 weeks and has no heartbeat. I am torn up about it and i have had no bleeding or cramping so it's kind of confusing me that they want me to get a d&c done.

im going throught the same thing had a mc 3years ago i found out in may im pregant again went for a scan at 4 weeks as im high risk but could only see the sack had scan at 8 weeks no heart beat sent home for nature to take it corse but nothing going on went back last week for scan still no heart beat but baby has grown this would make me 10 weeks does has anyone have anyideas as it doing my head in its been 14 days since my first scan and i have no pain or bleeding

wait, for gods sake wait if your baby grew from 7 weeks and 2 days to 8 weeks then something is happening if you are going to miscarry u will eventually do it on your own.

THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME, i WAS SCHULED FOR A D&C. MY DR. DID A PREGNANCY TEST BEFORE THE PROCEDURE AND IT WAS POSITIVE. THANK GOD HE SAVED MY BABIES LIFE. HE COULDN'T EXPLAIN WHY THEY COULDN'T HEAR THE HEART BEAT. BUT I THANK HIM FOR TAKING ONE IN THE HOSPITAL. I HAD A BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY

I'm 14 weeks pregnant and I went to my prenatal appointment this Wensday and the doctor found no heartbeat. I got an ultrasound done and still no heartbeat. 2 weeks ago I had my first trimester screening done and everything was fine. I'm not bleeding or anything, my D&C is scheduled for next Tuesday. Is there anything I can do as to make sure I'm miscarrying... I don't want to have the D&C with the chance my child is still alive. HELP!

Atika870, before they perform the d & c I would ask for another US, see if the baby has grown fom the last scan. If it has then obviously the little bean is being cheeky not giving you a heartbeat... Good luck, I know it's hard, I had my first miscarriage 2wks ago after 2 perfect textbook babies x

Yes, thank you so much for that spiritual enligthning. I was told my baby by an u/s theres is no h/b i am still convinced that it was God who gave me this baby after waiting for years for it and thereis no way he has taken the breath out of him. Accoring to my lmp I am 8weeks per dr record baby is 6w4d in us with no hb. i am still having sore, no bleeding this time. i am patiently waiting onmy body to tellme what to do. i have my another u/s next i pray to God that it was just a mistake it is a slow progressing pregnant and mylmp was wrong.

I went to the DR office just for monthly checkup and after 10 minutes couldnot hear the heart beat after almost 11 weeks of pregnancy. The DR asked me to come back 5 days after to check again. Since I had a misscariage early this year and to have a peace of mind I went to the emmergency. Two ultrasound technicians couldn't detect the heart beat. The baby is about 8weeks 2 days. The doctor recommended the D&C procedure even though my hormone level still high. I have no signs of misscariage.

Now i am pregnant, i had missed two baby due to no fetal. now third time my LMP is 5th many 2012 i checked my baby heartbeat in 6 weeks then my baby heartbeat was strongly going on after that n 12 weeks i did Double marker that was also corrected but in 14teen week i did ultrasound as per doctor recommended my baby no heart beat & doctor suggest me D&E but i dont' want i read many place sometime heart beat no detect in ultrasound but after few days come.

So pls. pray for my baby or everything was good.

I went to my first dr appt ysterday. I was sure i was 10 weeks. I asked for a ultrasound to be sure of my due date. When I got to the ultrasound, The tech asked me very alarming questions but said nothing about my situation. Confused and afraid, she sent me back upstairs to my drs office. He informed me there was two babies and neither had a heartbeat! Devasted by he news, I asked if it could be a mistake. He tld me not to get my hopes up, but he would schedule another ultrasound for this coming mon. I still have all my pregnancy symptoms as I did with my 1st baby. And no spotting or cramps. Praying for the best, but should I get a second opinion?

 

I am 10 weeks. At my 8 week ultrasound the baby was perfect. I started spotting 2 days ago and whenI went for a checkup there was no longer a heartbeat. The d and c is scheduled for 3 days from now and its so hard to live knowing a dead baby is inside me. Any ideas on how to tell an 8 year old he has to wait to be a big brother?

I was scheduled for a d&c 6 weeks ago. My Hcg levels plummited so doc believed i was miscarrying.  on the day of the d&c i requested another hcg test to be certain. After an arguement with the doctor he finally agreed to giving me the test.  Turns out i was still pregnant and the baby was fine. Needless to say i transfered OB's after they almost killed my baby. On the way home all i could think about was the 3 other women who had d&c's that day as well. Was there babies still alive too?

Ok I need an opinion from other people with the same experiences... I went for my first sonogram which was a VUS and was measuring 5wk almost 6wks found a heart beat of 114, from my last AF i should have been 7wks, they found 2 yolk sacs one healthy baby one healthy heart beat. The nurse called me to tell me that being that early one twin could be a couple days behind and just not be showing yet they had me schedule a sonogram for 2wks from then to check for twins. I went to my appt, making me 8-9wks and they found no HB I was so upset. I felt like the Dr where I had the U/S done was just like ok no HB the baby is gone all he looked at was still pictures the tech had taken and the tech didnt look around as much as they did with my first U/S.  a couple days later I was talking with a friend she said her friend had the same thing happen and it just so happen that only one twin had passed and was laying in front of the living twin and she went for a sonogram a wk or so later and found one baby with one HB. Has anyone else had this type of experience? Im also not having really any cramping and no spotting what so ever. Any advice would be appreciated!
