I got married a year ago and used birth control for the first four months of my marriage and then stopped taking it. I had a normal period, every 28 days or so, after I stopped taking the birth control; that only lasted for about 5 months though. I haven't had my period in over two months. I have always had abnormal periods and have gone up to 8 months without one before. I am not pregnant, I have taken numerous HPT's and today I had an ultrasound and nothing came up except for a few cysts. I am also not over weight or under weight. I have always been told by GYN that I am as "healthy as a horse" but could my abnormal periods prevent me from getting pregnant?
And another quick question: Could a 1 cm. cyst on the inside of my uterus affect a pregnancy or becoming pregnant?

You may want to consult with a Reproductive Endocronologist. They are a specialized Gyno. that deals with infertility problems and hormoal things relating to gynocological health.
Did your doctor suggest any reasons for your lack of a menstral cycle. Did he order any blood workups? Such as thyroid?
If you are trying to conceive then I would think you need to have a menstral cyle or else you wouldn't be ovulating and such.
If it were me, my sister or daughter I would persue an answer.
