I have this odd problem that has developed.

Ever get that feeling when you've worked so hard your arms feel like the muscles won't fire. And you feel electric pulse trying to fire the musles but they are too pooped to move. It feels a little like that. It feels like a small electric jolt.

It happens when I twist sometimes or take a deep breath. Happens often when I stretch (like morning wakeup stretch). But it does not have to be morning, can happen any time.

It's not deep, it's right on the surface. I don't think it has anything todo with the heart.

It's right around my breast bone.

It does not hurt. It's just uncomfortable.

I'm 47 and in reasonably good health, good weight (160lbs @ 5' 10)

The only thing I could think of is maybe my breast bone has a crack or something.

It's not a muscle spasm.

Any idea what it good be?
I'm only 22 and I get these electric sensations that you're talking about. Sometimes they're in my chest but a lot of times they're in my arms and legs. I've got a ton of other symptoms that go along with this problem (joint pain, frequent nausea and fatigue, migraines...) I have multiple sclerosis. It's very unlikely that you have it, but you need to explore all possibilities.

And heck, it can't hurt just to go to the doctor and ask!

I am only 14 years old. I have experienced the same problem, after I have caffene i feel these electrical feeling shocks on the left side of my breast bone. Alot of times caffene makes me nervous, and i read an article saying that these shocks are signs of anxiety.
