Hello,

I am currently on the pill. I have not had a "period" on quite a long time. I do not skip the placebos, my periods just got lighter and lighter with more time on the pill..my dr said this is very common. Anyway, it has been at least 6 months since I have had a period, I never cramp or bloat or have any other PMS-like symptoms..this is why I love this pill. However, for about 3 days now I have been very crampy, bloated, a bit gassy, and have had some light bleeding (brownish and sort of stringy..sorry if TMI). Several weeks ago there were a couple of times where I missed a pill (I usually tame it at 9pm), but I took it the next morning (around 7 am)..I know the chances of me being pregnant are slim, but it just seems odd to randomly have these symptoms when I haven't had anything like that in so long. I took a HPT a few days ago and it was negative, so maybe my hormones are just being weird? Should I test again? A baby wouldn't be a bad thing. A surprise of course, but I wouldn't complain. Thoughts? Thanks!

i hated taking the pill.. i found out after three years of headaches missed periods and multiple ovarian cysts that i was allergic to the extra strogen.. and then there was the option for progestuine (bad spelling) only pills.. but they gave me four periods a month!! maybe talk to your doctor about trying soemthing else!
