I should be coming up on my period in a weeks time, and I am wondering if it is too early in the pregnancy (it would only be two or three weeks in) to have nipple secretion when they are squeezed. If it is too early, what else could produce the milky, sour substance?
If you have a blood test, and it proves to be that you are NOT pregnant, there is a possiblity you may be suffering from a pituitary gland condition or tumour. It is a very common condition, caused by pathology of the pituitary gland - a major gland located above the back part of your nasal cavity. The condition may be causing an excess of the hormone prolactin, which is responsible for causing milk secretion. Best advice - see a doctor.
Hi nen,
A week before the period is still early for home or urine pregnancy tests to detect pregnancy. They can accurately detect pregnancy after it has been two or more weeks after the unprotected sex. The only option is that you have blood pregnancy test, at the doctors because it can detect pregnancy even before the period is supposed to come.
As far as the problem with breasts is concerned, I agree that you should talk about this with your doctor, but also, there are other reasons that cause hormonal imbalance, besides some disease or pregnancy. Some women experience this in puberty, some later in life, but it still is best for you to make sure what is going on.
