As Bugs Bunny says: What a maroon !!!
'Police? My onion rings are cold!'
A US woman was arrested for calling 911 after a restaurant served her cold onion rings.
Sharita Williams, 30, of Houma, Louisiana, told police the food was cold when she received it and the waiter refused to replace it.
So she dialled 911 from the Malt-N-Burger restaurant in Thibodaux, reports the Daily Comet.
Police turned up - but only to arrest Williams for wasting police time. She is due in court in December.
You'd be amazed at what people call 911 for
:umno:
:umno:
Aren't they starting a "non-emergency" number ? Like for stray dogs, flat tires and the like ?
No, I wouldn't. :hysteria:
I've been to Thibodaux. Without hot onion rings, I don't think I could make it through the town.
We have them in this area, but most people are too lazy to look up the number to Dunkin Donuts
You know...they've had those since the invention of the telephone. It's called the MAIN NUMBER. 911 was instituted for EMERGENCIES only. Stupid people think everything is an emergency. This person is stupid and so is everyone who has called 911 with anything but a life threatening (or seemingly life threatening) emergency.
