I had been on the pill since I was 18. I went off a few times to get pregnant. In my 40's I decided to go off the pill and started having 2 periods a month. The Obgyn put me back on the pill. I still had some breakthru spotting. Since then, at 44, I got off the pill for the last 6 months. I have had one period in that time, alot of breakthru brownish pinkish bleeding especially with exercise and bowel movements. I have joint pain, cramping and I am feeling a little green aroung the gills alot of the time. I know I have one fibroid and I did have a cyst on one ovary that went away on its own. One other thing is I have had tremendous cramping pain in my right lower abdomen which makes me feel very sick. I have had ct's and mri's no one can seem to pin point the problem. Is it menpause or what??????
