Hi I was just wondering, my boyfriend and I have never had another sexual partner so is it possible that we can an STD off of each other from having oral sex without a condom?
My boyfriend is 17 and so am I and he gives blood so he has been tested for anything in his blood etc.. so I was just wondering if its possible that an STD could still be gotten from him? (we have been together 14months).

If you have an STD he can get it if he performs oral on you and if he has an STD you can get it if you perform oral on him.
If neither of you has been with anyone else, it's not likely you have an STD.
However no one on this side of your computer monitor can tell you if you or he is clean.
Do you know him well enough to believe he has never been with anyone else?

Thanks so much for your reply I really appreciate it. Yeah I have known him since we were fourteen years old and I also know his first girlfriend so I know that they never had any sexual relations. Also his parents have told me he has never had another girl before that one so yeah..
We are both definitely virgins I trust him on that one.. I feel confident with him and trusting of him this is my first boyfriend and first sexual relation and it is his first sexual relation too.

One more thing. For your own convenience, the pill is really a good thing. Condoms are not that reliable. They do break and having to stop to put one on when you're all warmed up is really annoying.
Go easy and talk to each other about what you're doing and how it feels. Sex is wonderful with someone you love but you need to communicate what hurts and what feels good. What you like and what you don't like. Also some lube like KY jelly is good until you find out how much you can get your natural lubrication going.

Yeah I have been on the pill for quite some time now probably close to two years now, so I am all protected in that sense but yes a condom is a good idea but not totally reliable! Thanks heaps for your help and advice, when it comes to the time to have sex we will definitely be using lube and communicating a lot about what feels good and what doesn't feel so good.
