I had my surgery a week ago today. I had a stone removed from my bladder that was between 1.5-2cms in diameter that the surgeon thinks was causing most of my pain. There was a further 5 stones found in my kidneys, but since they were still attached they were left there as they were thought they wouldn't cause me any problems.
The bladder stone was blasted, and the larger parts removed. I was told I would pass the smaller fragments naturally.
I am in a lot of pain and discomfort. I feel a lot of intense pressure down below and feel the need to urinate a lot although it is basically dribbles that come out. Is this pain caused by the smaller fragments passing?
I was told I would be uncomfortable for " a few days" but that's been a week, and I don't know if this is normal or not. I haven't noticed any blood, apart from a tiny smear when I wiped a couple of days ago. The past couple of days my urine has been very pale. My LMP was 6th this month, as I know sometimes people ask for that.
I have taken two paracetamol but they don't seem to be helping.
Thank you for any advice.
