Hello, I am 13 years old and have noticed several people going through the same thing as me. I had my surgery on the 28th of December 2016. It has now been 8 days and I feel a ton better, aside from three things. They say the younger you are the easier you will get better. as I said I am on day 8, I have severe ear pain when I swallow. Also the scab is tearing in my throats and makes it almost unbearable to swallow. I've mostly been downing liquids. I haven't moved from the same spot for roughly 4-6 days due to my nausea. I find it hard to keep food down and I threw up a few times. Although I did finally get some food down today. :) I hope you all get a better! P.s. There is a nerve between your tonsils and it runs up to your ears (that's what caused the pain!) but like I said... goodluck!
