About a week ago the right side of my neck began a twinging pain in the front, where I assumed the lymph nodes are. It only hurts in one second intervals, several times a day ( it seems to be fine for a while then comes back). It begun to happen more frequently and doesn't seem to want to go away. Every so often my left side joins in, but not as bad and not nearly as often. Lately my throat is starting to hurt, like I've been yelling, but it doesn't look red. It fooled me yesterday, when I thought it was going away ( my neck didn't hurt, replacing itself with the sore throat, but this morning lo and behold the pains are back and my throat is still sore.

I had the same. The left side hurt when swallowing saliva. The right side hurt a little less also. It hurt 3 days then went away for a day but came back the next morning. That went on and on for 3 to 4 weeks. It's gone now. No medication taken.
