I hope there is someone who might help me with my problem. I really don’t know if there is something seriously wrong with me. I have some sharp pain in my head, just above ear. I feel it many times a day so I don’t know what that could be. I would like to know if anyone experienced the same and maybe could tell me if I should be concerned.
I have one very good friend of mine, who has this problem all the time. I know that sharp pain in head drives him crazy. It was happening so often that he decided to visit a doctor. He recommended him some tests which should be done. He said all of those came back fine, and his doctor said this sharp pain in his head was from stress. Lately I found out something which I think could help you and mine friend too. I have heard that unilateral head pain, nausea, photophobia, and phonophobia are hallmarks. Anyway, seems that even without typical features, severe recurrent headache is most likely to be migraines. Migraine is clearly the most common headache type encountered by physicians, so maybe this might be your problem too. It doesn’t have to be, but maybe your physician could test you and discover diagnosis. Only that might help you to treat and prevent sharp pain in head for the future.
