pain in left side of stomach when i bend over

Hi All

Just getting over a cold/virus thats going round (usual symptoms, bad throat, headaches, glands up, fever,chills etc) but whilst I was ill, I started getting this stabbing pain about an inch to the left of my belly button. The pain is not constant, but it hurts like hell when i bend over, sit up or sometimes just when i turn funny. Its sometimes tender to press on it. I was diagnosed with IBS last year, but  it does not seem to feel the same as IBS pain and is not food related, so Im thinking its something else.  Anyone else have/had this or know what it might be ?
