Dear Stonesfan4
Its an Absolute pleasure..I will do my utmost to answer your question...
I was very surprised to hear Buscopan is not available in US, I even discussed this with my medical partners, who were equally surprised and reassured me the pharmaceutical formula "must" surely be available.
Please try searching its actual pharmacological name which is Hyoscine Butylbromide 10-20mg 4 times daily, as required. We use this very, very frequently. This medication is certainly approved for use in UK and I spelled this pharmaceutical spelling right from the BNF (British National Formulary).
To answer your other question - Yes, there are many other anti-spasmodic medications, however they are more specific to bowel and I have not prescribed them for this particular indication. These include Mebeverine hydrochloride (used lots in Irritable bowel syndrome) and Alverine Citrate (Spasmonal - used in irritable bowel syndrome, as well as for painful periods = dysmenorrhoea).
Hope the above helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
P.S Apologies for delay in replying, should be quicker next time :)

So I have a very similar problem and it is bad enough that I am thinking of going to a doctor. I am a healthy 35 year old male. It began a few years back for me when I was very overweight at 6'1" 350lbs. I have lost well over 100lbs and am now very active. For me when I am just about to climax I will feel a twinge fairly deep in my middle abdomen to the upper right of my belly button. Then when I ejaculate it will knot like a charlie horse and the pain is beyond words. I have to stand up and stretch to make it subside which takes a few moments. Then it will be tender and sore for several hours or even a day or two. If I push in the area where it occurred it is tender and painful. It seemed to disappear when I became active and lost weight but is back. This time it usually only happens during certain positions like sitting or propped up. If standing or laying flat on my back usually it's okay or I'll just feel the twinge like it's getting ready to knot. I seriously would like some advice as it is both mortifying when it happens with a partner and just weird and horribly painful.

I am aged 65 . Fit and healthy all my life. Everything down there still functions very well and masturbation episodes, though less frequent than younger days, can be full ejaculation 3-4 times a week during a randy period then may go a week plus with no action. My masturbation method has always been the very pleasurable rubbing up and down against soft bed sheets. These days can be quick, also can take fair while. I often purposefully extend the pleasure out over 30 mins. Never been any pains until 4 episodes back. My experience is not the same as those writing here. Right at the ejaculation a pain, not severe., but unpleasant, like a narrow ring front and back plus groin areas about level 2 or 3 inches below top of hip bones. It goes very quickly after ejaculation. It worries me somewhat and have considered seeing my doctor. I mean could there be a connection to prostate cancer or the spread of. I have only very mild BHP and never have pains down below normally. 30 yrs ago I had a vasectomy and was disturbed to read 3 yrs ago in a report from the USA that there is a 89% chance after 20 yrs of developing cancer after that procedure. Like manymen I tend to put off going to doctors unless something very tangible. I often think I'm a bit hypochondriac. Sure would welcome some feedback.

The minute it happened to me , which was just now, 7/16/13 around 3:05, I almost died -_- The minute I started ejaculating, an intense pain that felt like a Charlie horse being folded over on my lower left abdominal muscle occurred. I don't know what the hell it was, but I believe it's like any Charlie horse. I stood up to stretch it out and that seemed to help. Talk about buzz kill. I felt it creeping up on me seconds before I ejaculated then BOOM ! Also with each throbbing pulse from the Big-O , I felt the Charlie horse following the same pattern and getting tighter with each pulse.

exactly the same ! - very sharp pain just right of and under the belly button - but also felt like cramping in my stomach muscles on the right of my belly button and going upwards about 7 inches ( the cramp I mean !) .
I read a good article or two today - looks like it could be an infection of the prostate (prostatis) or might be due to trying to hold off ejaculating - this seems to create a build up or some sort of blockage possibly - anyway it looks like its one of these two. check them out ! Good Luck !

i suffer a similar sharp pain about 2" above my penis on my left side, but only during ejaculation and dull ache for about half a day following , this began two weeks ago after doing ab crunches with a light exercise ball and wonder if I caused a hernia on myself, but what's the cure I can see no bulge to indicate a hernia

I recently had this exact pain for the first time. I did recently go to the gym and do some crunches. I'm thinking this may have something to do with it. I am now afraid to masturbate after this scare I just had. It was like a muscle hernia or something in my lower right abdomin. I am just going to rest for a few days and try again to see what happens. This was the first time I ever experienced this.

I have found Buscopan through Canada Drugs online. Once ordered, it is then sent from a pharmacy in the UK. Takes 14 to 28 days to arrive in the U.S. Hope this helps.

I am replying to my own post. I noticed that I didn't have that pain any more after I rested a couple of days. I think I must have just over worked myself with the crunches. No more incidents.

Hi guys,
I too had pain everytime I ejaculated. It was just as everyone here described. The pain was bad. Then one day, the pain would not go away. It was debilitating! I was put on pain meds which is a story in itself.
I had seen thirteen doctors including a Urologist. I went to a local hospital, a university hospital, two clinics, a pain clinic, a physical therapist, had two operations, had so many tests, and had steroid and marcan injections. Some of the doctors saw that I was on pain meds, and implied I was a drug seeker. They would have nothing to do with me. What a bunch of quacks and a total waste of money. After three years of this I had depression.
I sat at home searching on the web for an answer. Then I came across a web page that changed my life.
It said: Post-ejaculatory pain, mediated by nerves and muscles, is a hallmark of the condition. I immediately went to my doctor with the information I found and asked for antibiotics. After three doses, the pain was gone. GONE ! This was just last week.
Please, check out this web site. I hope it will work for you!
