pain in middle of chest after pneumonia

I am having his, too.  Pain and pressure in my chest.  I had severe pneumonia and complications a year ago.  I am underweight still and have lung and muscle scarring, but my X-rays are clear.  Doctors recommend ibuprofen but it isn't helping.  Is this normal?  any suggestions?  Please.
