This is my 11th day after the transfer of the embrios with IVF. yesterday at the afternoon I had pains in my back, close to my kidneys, as when you get your period. Please tell me what does it mean? is it a good sign of pregnancy, or that I will be having my period soon??/

I am presently experiencing the symptoms that you are having and I am on day 6 and I have another week till I go back to the MD for my results. Were you able to get your question answered?

I have had abdominal pain and period-like cramps since day 7 after IVF and just got a positive HCG test today. I have not yet talked with my MD so I don't have any explanation for what causes it. From my Google searches I think it might be OHSS.
