I had a baby 6 months ago and sexual intercourse is vet painful. I breastfeed and take depo which I believe can cause vaginal dryness. So we have been using water based librication. Still painful. It looks bright red in the opening where is feels unpleasant. Could this be and infection? I have no discharge or odor.

The doctor said I did not tear and I was not cut.
is it only painful during intercourse or at other times to and do you have any other irritation around that area?
